Chongqing Three Gorges University (CTGU), set up in 1956, is a national comprehensive university（national school code 10643). It is located in Wanzhou, the second largest city of Chongqing Municipality in the heart of the Three Gorges Areas by Yangtze River. The school developed mainly in the disciplines of Engineering、Literature and Management, with coverage of Science, agriculture, Economics, Pedagogy, Law and Art. CTGU covers an area of 202 hectares of campus and 726,400 square meters of construction space, with the teaching&research facilities valuing ￥289,000,000 RMB and library housing 1,967,300volumes of hard books and 1,782,500 types of digital books. Modern digital book system and digital Information network provide a good support for the running of the school. 19 schools enroll more than 20,000 students, with 1227 postgraduates in them. CTGU enrolled international students from 2006 and now it provides curriculum system to both undergraduates and graduates. CTGU has a staff of 1412. 1071 professional teachers, among witch 145 are professors and 282 are vice professors, work hard here.
