Sichuan Post and Telecommunications College (SPTC) was founded in 1956. With the approval of Sichuan provincial government, SPTC was governed by the Sichuan Branch of China Telecom. Located in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, SPTC is titled with the “Double High-levels Plan” , “National High-Quality Vocational College” and “Backbone State Higher Vocational Institute”. At present, SPTC has more than 6000 students, 23 characteristic majors such as modern communication technology, information security technology application, modern logistics management, etc., and two undergraduate level vocational education talent training and reform pilot majors, namely the communication engineering and Internet of Things engineering. SPTC has established cooperation and exchange relations with 13 countries, including the United States, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Cameroon and Gambia, and actively carried out sino-foreign joint program , the development of high-quality courses and professional standards, international competitions, Chinese+skills training, etc., providing strong support for ICT international production capacity cooperation.
