Chongqing Vocational Institute of Engineering (CQVIE for short) is a full-time higher vocational college organized by Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and supervised by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. Founded in 1951, CQVIE held higher vocational education in 1998, and was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2001. In 2010, it was established as one of 100 national model higher vocational colleges, and was established as a national high-quality higher vocational college in 2019. In 2021, it was selected as a high-level vocational college and professional group construction plan unit in Chongqing. CQVIE has 7 secondary colleges, covering more than 50 majors in 10 major categories such as electronic information, equipment manufacturing, transportation, and civil construction. There are more than17,000 full-time students. CQVIE is the Chinese chairman unit of the China-Thailand Vocational Education Alliance, the vice chairman unit of the Luban Workshop Construction Alliance of the Ministry of Education, the vice chairman unit of the second council of Vocational and Technical Education International Exchange Branch of China Education Association for International Exchange, and secretariat of the Curriculum Construction Group of the China-Africa Applied Talents Joint Training Subproject of the Ministry of Education’s “Future Africa Plan”. CQVIE was selected into the first batch of “Jingshi International College” of the Ministry of Education “Humanistic Exchange Project”, and the first batch of 20 “China-ASEAN HigherVocational Colleges Special Cooperation Project” colleges. The college was selected as “High-end Skilled and Applied Talents Jointly Cultivate Tens of Millions "Exchange Plan” (Ten Million Plan) project college, one of the four first batch project institutions of “Sino German industry 4.0 integration project”, “Top 50 international influence of Higher Vocational Colleges”, Chongqing internationalization characteristic project, etc. CQVIE has carried out overseas student training and technical services with more than 20 countries along the “Belt and Road”such as Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, etc. as well as co-organized Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions. CQVIE cooperated with the Confucius Institute at the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Tanzania Group Six International Ltd. to launch the “Luban Workshop”. The British BTEC Authorized Center was established, achieving the first breakthrough in higher vocational colleges in the southwest region. The “China-Germany Rheinland Industrial Innovation Center” and “German 5G International Academy" were built.

重慶工程職業技術學院是一所由重慶市人民政府舉辦，重慶市教育委員會主管的全日制普通高等職業學校。學校始建于 1951 年，1998年舉辦高等職業教育，2001年升格為高等職業院校，2010 年建成全國 100 所國家示范性高等職業院校，2019 年建成國家優質高職院校。2021 年入選重慶市高水平高職學校和專業群建設計劃單位。學校開設有 7 個二級學院，覆蓋電子信息、裝備制造、交通運輸、土木建筑等 10 個專業大類 50 余個專業?，F有全日制在校學17000 余人。

學校是中泰職教聯盟中方理事長單位，教育部魯班工坊建設聯盟副理事長單位，中國國際教育交流協會職業技術教育國際交流分會第二屆理事會副理事長單位，教育部“未來非洲計劃”中非應用型人才聯合培養子項目課程建設組秘書處。成功入選世界職業院校與技術大學聯盟卓越獎，教育部人文交流中心“人文交流經世項目”首批“經世國際學院”，全國首批 20 個“中國-東盟高職院校特色合作項目”院校，“高端技能型、應用型人才聯合培養百千萬交流計劃”（百千萬計劃）項目院校，“中德工業 4.0 產教融合項目”全國四個首批項目院校之一，“高等職業院校國際影響力 50 強”，重慶市國際化特色項目等。

學校與泰國、馬來西亞、老撾、俄羅斯、烏茲別克斯坦、白俄羅斯等“一帶一路”沿線 20 余國開展海外留學生培養、技術服務以及合作舉辦中外合作辦學機構。與坦桑尼亞達累斯薩拉姆大學孔子學院、坦桑尼亞聯合建設國際有限公司合作開辦“魯班工坊”。組建英國 BTEC 授權中心，實現西南區域高職院校首次突破。建成“中德萊茵產業創新中心”“德國 5G 國際學院”。
