Guangzhou Huashang Vocational College, approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and officially listed by the Ministry of Education, is a full-time college under the administration of Huashang Education Group with an investment of Sun City Group Holdings Limited. There are more than 17,000 full-time students on campus studying 56 specialties in 10 schools, including Information Engineering School, Hotel Management School, Intelligent Engineering School, International Economics and Trade School and Health Medicine School. There is established Chinese Cuisine Prosperity Base on campus, one of the sections of Overseas Chinese Benefit Project. The base was granted officially by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, one of five such bases in China and the only one founded in a private tertiary education institution. Guangzhou Huashang Vocational College is located in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province and the core city right in the centre of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With its unique catering alliances and networks both at home and abroad, the Chinese Cuisine Prosperity Base on campus provides the students with numerous internship, work and further study opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and overseas. The college has also carried out academic exchanges with the tertiary education institutions in more than 10 countries and regions in ways such as joint education, inter-school cooperation and short-term study with universities, numerous opportunities for the students to study abroad.
