Shandong Business Institute, a provincial public full-time college, authorized by the Shandong Provincial Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is located in Yantai, a coastal city and an excellent tourism city in China. Shandong Business Institute, formerly known as Yantai Grain School of Shandong Province, was founded in 1975. In 2006, Shandong Business Institute was formally established with the approval of Shandong Provincial People’s Government. In 2013, the school was rated as the "Famous School with Special Characteristics for Skilled Talent Training in Shandong Province". In 2015, the former Shandong Provincial Grain Cadre School was merged into Shandong Business Institute, and established the Jinan campus, marking the school’s entry into a new stage of multi-campus education. In 2018, the school was rated as the “Outstanding contributor to the cultivation of National Skilled Talents” by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
