Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM), founded in 1956, a prestigious university in China, has been well-known for its leading subjects traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Chinese Materia Medica. BUCM has been listed under the Project 211, a project designed for prioritizing development of about 100 colleges and universities and a host of key disciplines for the 21st century.
